Saturday, Sept, 12 there will be brush cutting along the entire length of the Spring Road. Volunteers are needed. This road is growing in, and from the Long Falls Dam Road to the Spring it is getting very bad. I expect to have a chipper to manage the brush so if we have enough people we should be able to clear enough to be good for a couple of years.
We will need chain saws, power brush cutters, and any other bush cutting tools that are appropriate. We will need people to do the cutting, people to manage brush, and people to feed the chipper.
If it is a wet and rainy day we will postpone until Sept. 25 and a new posting will be sent out.
If we are unable to complete this project in September it will have to wait until next year.
Please gather at the Spring Road gate at 8 AM and plan on working until at least noon.
