Carry Ponds Association Board of Directors Meeting
August 5, 2017
Middle Carry Pond
The Board of Directors met after the annual meeting
adjourned.
In attendance: Directors Walter Purda and Bob Smith, and
guests Jim MacLeod, Jerry Child, Stan Giguere, Sandy Runyon and Norm
Kalloch.
As the annual meeting lacked a quorum of 15 landowners for
the election of officers and directors the current directors followed the Carry
Ponds Association By-laws to fill the vacant positions.
The By-laws state, “The Board of Directors shall appoint an
interim officer and/or Board member when a position has been vacated prior to
the annual meeting.”
The current directors
present Walter Purda and Bob Smith unanimously voted: Walter Purda, President;
Wanda Calder, Treasurer; Norm Kalloch, Secretary. Jerry Child and Jim Macleod were voted
directors, each to a one year term. Director, Paul Saccoccia had left prior to
the directors meeting, however he was contacted by the Secretary to see if he
concurred with his fellow director’s vote.
He did concur.
President, Walter Purda gave up his position as director to
allow for an additional voice on the Board of Directors. Stan Giguere was voted
to fill Walter’s position until the next annual meeting when he would run for
election to finish Walter Purda’s term, expiring 2019.
